Design and development of a web application for the Land Use Planning Guidelines of Galicia
Challenge and context
This web application represents a significant advance in the management and accessibility of territorial data in Galicia, promoting an innovative vision for all those interested in territorial planning. Its main objective is to centralize, in a single platform, all the relevant information of the Territorial Planning Guidelines (DOT) of Galicia, facilitating access to complete and updated data of each Galician municipality. Developed by ABTEMAS, as PARTNER BRONZE as ESRI, this application becomes a key tool for citizens, professionals and technical staff, strengthening transparency and optimizing the decision-making process.
Development and Scope
This platform was designed to respond to the current needs of accessibility and data organization in Galicia, providing an intuitive tool that improves the consultation experience for people of diverse profiles, from urban planning experts to people interested in learning more about the planning of their environment.
Featured Features
The application of the Territorial Planning Guidelines of Galicia offers a wide range of functionalities that make it an essential tool for consulting, searching and viewing the DOT 2011. Among its main features are:
- Access to updated information: The application allows specific queries to be made by area, municipality and type of municipality. This provides each user with quick and orderly access to the territorial information of each municipality, facilitating the search for relevant data for analysis and planning.
- Intuitive display of information: The application allows you to navigate fluidly through the selected municipalities, clearly displaying the associated determinations.
- Chapter Determination Cards: When selecting a Concello, the application displays information cards, organized by chapter, detailing the specific territorial determinations.
- User Guide:The application includes an accessible user guide that details the steps required to navigate and take advantage of all its features.
Impact
This project is another clear example of ABTEMAS social commitmentto innovation and access to information for the benefit of all Galician citizens.
