Information and consent

Data provided through www.abtemas.es may be incorporated into processing activities for which Abtemas SL is the controller. By accepting this privacy policy, the user acknowledges having been informed and freely, specifically and unambiguously consents to the processing of their personal data.

Purpose of processing

Data is processed exclusively for purposes arising from the legal relationship established with the user, including management of the contractual relationship, provision of information about Abtemas SL's activities and services, and commercial prospecting where express consent has been given.

In the case of job applicants who submit their data through the website, the information received will be processed for the purpose of managing selection processes and keeping applicants informed of vacancies arising within the organisation.

Data retention

The data provided will be retained for as long as the business relationship is maintained or for as many years as are necessary to comply with legal obligations.

In the case of job applicants, data will be retained for a maximum period of two years from receipt, unless the position is filled before that date or the individual exercises their right of erasure.

Legal basis for processing

The processing of data at Abtemas SL is based on the following legal grounds under the GDPR.

  • Art. 6.1.b GDPR Performance of a contract or steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.
  • Art. 6.1.a GDPR Consent of the data subject, for processing whose purpose is advertising and commercial prospecting.
  • Art. 6.1.c GDPR Compliance with a legal obligation applicable to the controller.

Disclosure of data to third parties

Data will not be disclosed to third parties except where there is a legal obligation to do so, or where it is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes arising from the contractual relationship.

Rights of data subjects

Any person may exercise the rights recognised by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction of processing and objection. To do so, please send a written request to the data controller at the address indicated above or by email to dpd@abtemas.es, stating the right you wish to exercise and enclosing a copy of your identity document.

If you consider that the processing of your data does not comply with applicable law, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) through its website at www.aepd.es.
